Biography of Dr. Steven C. Shepard

   Dr. Steven C. Shepard has an extensive background in commercial loss control/safety engineering, disaster counseling, life safety, real estate design and development, psychology. He is a published author, has appeared on local and national television, radio, and has been interviewed by numerous major newspapers.

  Dr. Shepard formed LIFE PROTECTORS COMPANY, an international supplier of personal safety products directed at medium to large commercial/industrial companies, the United States government,and national disaster organizations, in an effort to offer the highest quality personal protective, safety, and comfort products at prices well below the competition. "We started out consulting with commercial accounts to help reduce their employee injuries and lost time accidents, along with manufacturing and selling some of our own safety and comfort products, disaster preparedness and survival kits, and in a few short years the business has rapidly grown into an international force that offers over 10,000 items", says Dr. Shepard.

  Dr. Shepard has acted as a safety and loss control consultant to many of the largest U.S. insurance companies, including Allstate, Fireman's Fund, Farmers, Ohio Casualty, Lumberman's Mutual,Hartford, Golden Eagle, American States, and many others, has spoken at insurance seminars and meetings, and has written many loss control articles for internal use of his clients.

  As a behavioral research and organizational psychologist, he used his experience to consult with organizations on motivational techniques to help them increase production or expand their memberships.

  As an author, Dr. Shepard has received numerous reviews and endorsements from both governmental and major private disaster preparedness and response organizations.
